A few close calls this week in the @Betfred #SuperLeague Predictor! ?

Which teams do you think will triumph in Rivals Round? ?
Wakefield Trinity v Castleford Tigers
Who's ready for this fierce West Yorkshire rivalry to be renewed?
Neighbours Trinity and the Tigers will meet for the first time since that fateful night in 2023, in which the sides went toe to toe with each other at the bottom of the Super League table.
It was Cas who picked up those vital two points, eventually playing their part in sending their local rivals out of the top-flight.
Staggeringly, Castleford have won 19 of their last 20 Super League games against Wakefield, including each of their last two by double-digit margins and all eight of their away games during that period.
The Trin are current favourites based on their 2025 form, but can they finally reclaim bragging rights at Belle Vue this Thursday?
Weighted predictions: Trinity (4 points), Tigers (6 points)
Hull FC v Hull KR
The city is divided once more - and there's another Hull Derby to enjoy, as Hull KR host Hull FC on home soil. It'll be the 248th meeting between the two sides and it's a fixture where emotions and tensions are always high.
It’s Hull KR who have won each of their last three Super League matches against their cross-city rivals, as well as a 16-32 victory in the Challenge Cup quarter finals just a fortnight ago.
However, the Black & Whites are unbeaten in their last five Super League matches - their longest run in the competition since another five-game stretch in 2017.
The Robins lost their most recent outing (12-28 v Wigan Warriors) after winning their first six of the season but haven’t lost back-to-back league games since March 2024…
And this Good Friday game is simply too close to call – with both Hull clubs sitting 1st and 2nd in the Super League table.
Expect fireworks at the MKM Stadium, but who are you backing?
Weighted predictions: Hull FC (5 points), Robins (5 points)
Wigan Warriors v St Helens
The famous Good Friday derby makes it annual return, as current champions Wigan Warriors host former champions St Helens in a mouthwatering sell-out event.
Wigan Warriors have won each of their last three Super League home matches against St Helens and have lost just two of their last 25 Super League games at The Brick Community Stadium.
Saints emerged 12-4 victors in last year’s Good Friday Derby, but what action will unfold in 2025's Rivals Round?
The Predictor weightings are evenly split for this one!
Weighted predictions: Warriors (5 points), Saints (5 points)
Leeds Rhinos v Huddersfield Giants
A blockbuster Good Friday then concludes with a West Yorkshire showdown between Leeds Rhinos and Huddersfield Giants at AMT Headingley Stadium.
The Rhinos broke into the top six in Round 7 and will be hoping they can keep their place there.
A depleted Giants, on the other hand, find themselves rooted to the bottom of the table ahead of Rivals Round – can they raise their game against their rivals and ensure a change in fortunes?
Predicting a Huddersfield victory could see you bank a whopping 9 points if they are victorious this Easter!
And it was all smiles for the Claret & Gold at AMT Headingley last time out – the Rhinos lost their most recent Super League home match against the Giants (24-30 in April 2024) to a late Adam Clune match-winner.
They had gone unbeaten in seven matches against them previously, however…
Will you take a punt or play it safe?
Weighted predictions: Rhinos (1 point), Giants (9 points)
Leigh Leopards v Warrington Wolves
Rivals Round continues into Saturday evening with Leigh Leopards aiming for back-to-back Super League wins when they face Warrington Wolves.
It’s always a feisty affair when these two sides go head-to-head. The Leopards’ most recent home victory against the Wolves only came by a margin of four points (16-12 in August 2024), which means we could be in for another pulsating contest in Rivals Round!
Weighted predictions: Leopards (4 points), Wolves (6 points)
Catalans Dragons v Salford Red Devils
Rivals Round will conclude with a clash in the capital between Catalans and Salford in the south of France.
They last faced each other two weeks ago in the Betfred Challenge Cup quarter finals, where the Dragons grinded out at 20-12 victory.
Will we witness another tight affair?
Weighted predictions: Dragons (3 points), Red Devils (7 points)
